Drive to Churwalden & our home there

Churwalden is a small alpine town above Chur, the capital of Graubunden.  It is roughly 1-5h hours drive from Zurich, but you can also get there by taking a train to Chur and then a bus to Churwalden. The Swiss have a really efficient public transport and since renting a car is expensive you might want to consider that as an option.

Already while driving you get to admire the beautiful mountainous scenery.

Our home was located on the hills above Churwalden in a renovated old cellar of a private alpine style house of Reto and Sally, our super friendly Airbnb hosts. It had its own kitchen, views to the valley, combine living room and bedroom, and a nice bath room. I could have easily spent more than 2 night there!
