Spanish Steps

Spanish steps are a long staircase leading from Piazza di Spagna through 138 steps to upper Piazza Trinita dei Monti with a twin tower church. The steps were constructed in early 18th century.

Unfortunately when we were there large renovation works were being done blocking the usually magnificent view to the steps.
