Our last hike on our 8 day trip to Andalusia started just 20 min outside Granada from the small town of Monachill. This is also where Sierra Nevada mountains begin, but we only hiked in the lower parts of it. Actually, since it was may, the top parts were still covered in snow!
Our hiking trail went along a small river, then across the river and along a small canyon, and later up and down the hills.
One of the highlights was crossing a hanging bridge where only one person was allowed at a time. Given my fear of highlights crossing the bridge took some determination 😉
